Venturing

Venturing invites young adults to take charge of bold, life-shaping adventures. From high-adventure trips to hands-on leadership experiences, Venturers explore the outdoors, build strong friendships, and learn what it means to “Lead the Adventure”.
Home Venturing

Venturing is a coed program designed for young adults ages 13 (who have completed the eighth grade) through 20. Built around exploration, leadership, and teamwork, Venturing gives youth the freedom to chart their own course—choosing activities, setting goals, and leading the adventures they want to pursue.

Venturers thrive on challenge. Whether they’re zip lining through forest canopies, summiting rugged peaks, navigating whitewater rapids, or diving beneath the waves, each experience builds confidence, resilience, and a sense of limitless possibility. Crews choose their own adventures and shape them together, creating a program as unique as the youth who lead it.

But Venturing isn’t just about adrenaline-filled outings. It’s also about leadership, personal growth, and meaningful friendships. Through goal setting, peer collaboration, and service, Venturers gain real-world skills while forming strong bonds with peers who share their passion for adventure and discovery.

With the support of trained adult Advisors, Venturers learn to lead with purpose, support their fellow members, and take responsibility for their goals—skills that prepare them for success long after their next big adventure.
