The Lions program introduces kindergartners to Scouting through fun, active, and engaging adventures built just for early learners. Designed as a family-oriented program, each Lion participates alongside a parent or adult partner at every meeting and activity.
Together, Lions and their adult partners explore nature, build confidence, make new friends, and begin learning the values of the Scout Oath and Law in age-appropriate ways. This shared approach helps young Scouts feel supported while creating meaningful experiences for the whole family.
Every meeting is designed to be simple, active, and memorable—whether they’re learning about animals, practicing teamwork, completing simple fitness challenges, or exploring their community. Lions start developing early character traits like responsibility, kindness, and curiosity through activities that feel like pure fun.
As they progress through the program, Lions work on a series of adventures that help them earn the Lion rank. These adventures are completed together with their adult partner, blending creativity, outdoor exploration, and skill-building into every step.
For families, Lions is an introduction to the Scouting community—one that values shared experiences, positive role models, and time spent together. It’s a chance to grow, learn, and discover—side by side.
