WHAT IS WOODBADGE?
Wood Badge is the premier advanced leadership training course for regis-tered adult leaders in Scouting America, designed to teach leadership skills, team development, and problem-solving
applicable to their roles and personal lives. The program uses a combina-tion of leadership theory, Scouting traditions, and practical, hands-on activi-ties to develop more effective leaders for all
scouting programs. Participants complete an initial course, over two week-ends, and then work on a “Wood Badge ticket” of
personal goals to apply their new skills over the next 18 months.

The registration fee for this course is $200 per participant.
